Volunteer

Saffron Walden Mencap Society relies heavily on the goodwill of local community volunteers to help in a variety of ways.

 

There are many volunteering roles to suit everyone such as:

• Supporting and befriending our members at weekly clubs.

• Supporting members to attend special events.

• Transporting our members to clubs and events.

• Administrative tasks.

• Arranging special events.

• Arranging and/or assisting at fundraising events.

• Assisting with street collections

• What can you expect as a Saffron Walden Mencap Society volunteer?

• You will become part of a unique and caring local community.

• You will feel a sense of ‘giving something special’ to people who really need you.

• You will be raising money for an extremely worthy local cause.

• You will see the smiles on the faces of this wonderful community.
