It’s such a busy time on the plot in April, and May will be even busier!
We’ve been doing lots of watering, planting seeds, thinning out seedlings, weeding and all of the time learning about how to grow food. Our Dig-it gang have been able to plant out seedlings they sowed themselves: some lovely beetroot and garlic, and harvested chard, lettuce, herbs and gorgeous lettuce. It’s been a dry April, so watering has been really important. Bollette has been teaching us about how roots work and why we need to ‘water in’ newly planted vegetables to settle the roots into the soil.
We hope you like our photos from the last two weeks.
