Today’s Saffron Walden Mencap Society gathering at the fabulous Saffron Building Society ’s Community Link was one for the books. What a debut! Last night marked the very first outing for ‘Our Choice Club’ and we couldn’t have asked for a better start. ❤️ Our members headed out for a night of bowling, arcades, and great food. It wasn’t just about the scores; it was about the excellent team effort and the relaxed, happy atmosphere everyone created. What we didn’t know when we started Magical Music Man Mondays with the marvellous Nicky New, was that not only would she inspire us to use our voices, learn to play lots of different instruments, and to gain the confidence to perform in public, but that she would also be looking after our physical well being by including an element of keep fit in our sessions!! Happy New Year from GWOF! We had a fabulous night at Fairycroft House  for our first get-together of 2026! We created a canvas to show how we all come together with everyone printing their handprint around the words ‘Go With Our Flow’. When finished, the canvas will hang in Fast Eddie’s Bar for all to see.
