We had such a lovely evening, celebrating our wonderful Nicky’s birthday! Sarah took to the piano to play a special Happy Birthday, while Emma and Barry presented a card and some flowers We practiced rhythms, we listened to a new instrument, we had great fun doing some body percussion, and of course we continued to practice for our very special performance in 2027! We even managed to fit in a super speedy fire drill! Well done everyone!! Supported by Postcode Lottery UK awa

What a fantastic evening we all had! Everyone practiced their conducting skills after receiving instructions from Nicky. We worked hard at learning the words for some of our new performance songs, and we absolutely loved using the glockenspiels to play along to Doh a Deer!! We felt like an outsize Van Trapp family!! Then there were two birthdays to celebrate! Congratulations to Noah on his 21st and happy birthday also, to our lovely Joel! Supported by the Postcode Lottery UK

Our watching and listening skills have improved so much. They help us to know when to play our instruments, and when to use our voices. They also let us know when not to use them!! Watching and listening is helping us to create beautiful sounds and music. Music is magic in so many ways!
