On Saturday the 7th of October 2023, Cath Read and Dianne King arranged their fourth Jumble Sale fundraiser for Saffron Walden Mencap Society. Clothes, toys, books and bric-a-brac were available to purchase as well as Eileen's knits and lavender bags made by the members. A huge thank you to all the members, supporters and volunteers for their help to make the event so successful!. A special thank you to Susie Diggons, Tesco's Community Champion, for providing the refreshments and Super Cooper for running the popular Tombola.
The event raised £585.05 which will be used to provide activities at the charities weekly clubs.
