It was great to be back out on the plot today after last week’s visit to Audley End House and Gardens. We made the most of a productive day in the garden.
Our newest member, James, wasted no time getting stuck in! A few minutes after his arrival he harvested a beautiful crop of courgettes before helping to water both plots. He helped ensure everything stayed happy and healthy in the summer sunshine.
Julie carefully tied countless onions ready for curing. Preparing them all for this season's harvest.
While Barry was as busy as ever, hard at work turning and managing the compost to keep everything in perfect condition for the months ahead.
It was lovely to see everyone enjoying being back in the garden after last week's lovely change of scenery.
With plenty of jobs completed and vegetables harvested…it was another fantastic GrowAbility session. The plot is looking glorious thanks to the continuous hard work with watering. We’re already looking forward to seeing what next week brings!
