GrowAbility: Wednesday 21st October 2026
Another great session at GrowAbility this week. We really had to race against the rain!
We made the most of the dry weather to get lots of outdoor jobs done. The boys were on top form, turning the Toby compost in record time! After cleaning tools and getting stuck into weeding the garlic patch. A fantastic team effort all round!
Inside, the ladies got busy cutting back the tomato plants, helping to prepare them for decomposition in the compost. It’s always great to see everyone working together and keeping things ticking along in the garden, whatever the weather.
When the heavens finally opened, we headed indoors for a fun quiz and a very special birthday treat! We celebrated Barry’s birthday with some amazing homemade macaroons.
A huge thank you to Lisa for making such delicious treats, and a big well done to everyone for another productive session filled with teamwork, learning and plenty of smiles.
