GrowAbility: Wednesday 28th October 2026
Another fantastic week at GrowAbility, full of autumn creativity, teamwork Halloween fun!
The allotments are all looking lovely this time of year with so many colours in the changing season.
We got creative with nature this week, making beautiful autumnal wreath circles using the creeper vines from Lisa’s wall. The wreaths looked amazing, and everyone took great care with the delicate weaving to create something special and autumnal.
The boys were back at it, turning the Toby compost yet again! It was also brilliant to welcome Freddie and James back to GrowAbility for half term. After carefully preparing the soil, we planted winter cabbages, with both Freddie and James being incredibly gentle and showing real care when planting. It was wonderful to see!
To round off another lovely session, we headed inside for a Halloween themed quiz…putting our knowledge to the test and enjoying some seasonal fun together.
A big well done to everyone for another productive session filled with creativity, learning and teamwork. It’s always a pleasure to see everyone getting stuck in and making the most of our time together.

Happy Halloween from everyone at GrowAbility!
