On Friday the 25th of August 2023, a group of fourteen GWOF members and Companions travelled in convoy from Saffron Walden to Frinton-on-Sea for the day!
After a cloudy start, the weather was just perfect for relaxing, paddling, swimming, playing games, building sandcastles and having fun! During the morning, we enjoyed celebrating Joseph's 21st birthday and shared a delicious chocolate cake. We were lucky enough to see the Red Arrows in the distance, which were taking part in the Clacton Air Show. At lunchtime, everyone enjoyed fish and chips, then an ice-cream, before we made our way way back to Saffron Walden. Thank you to everyone for making it such a special day!
