Despite some nerves before hand, once Nicky started making her magic on the keyboard, we couldn’t hold back, and we sang more beautifully than ever. What a wonderfully special evening we all had! Our last Music Man session before a well deserved Summer break. Jessica’s mum, and lovely trustee, Jo, made us all some special cupcakes to eat before our end of term showcase performance, to friends and family. Despite the disappointment of our weekend performance being postponed until September, we were back in fine spirits, continuing our quest to become the very best performers we can be. Our watching and listening skills have improved so much. They help us to know when to play our instruments, and when to use our voices. They also let us know when not to use them!! This evening, we showcased some of the new music we have been learning this half term, to a very warm and receptive audience. They were so impressed with the progress that everyone has made. Music Man members presented each number, and then everyone performed with a confidence that grows week by week. Nicky was so proud, and invited everyone to take bow at the end. We love all the new pieces of music that Nicky is introducing us to! We tapped quietly on our tambourines to Kermit the Frogs wonderful Rainbow Song, we sang along beautifully to Hallelujah, and we showed off our Scottish dancing to Scotland the Brave!!!
