They say legends are hard to find, but we get to see one every single week.
Yesterday, our incredible volunteer Barbara turned 98 years young!
Barbara is our longest-standing volunteer, having been a cornerstone of the Side by Side Club for almost 11 years. She is the definition of reliability—every week, without fail, she’s there making sure everyone has their tea, coffee, and biscuits served with a smile.
But Barbara always goes the extra mile. Tonight, she even brought in cupcakes for all our members! From her personal Easter and Christmas treats for every individual member to her constant donations of raffle prizes, her generosity knows no bounds.
Barbara, you are more than a volunteer; you are family. Thank you for everything you do.
