Goodness, it was very a warm and sticky evening, but we were determined to fit in a final rehearsal for our performance this coming Saturday at the Wagfest Community Day event, on Saffron Walden Common. Our members are very excited this morning: looking forward to a day on the canal boats with CanalAbility We met at the Lord Butler Fitness & Leisure Centre and travelled by minibus to our destination. The boats are making their way upstream today, towards Harlow Mill. Each member will have the opportunity to steer the boat (with guidance) and help operating the numerous locks during the journey. Another fantastic session at GrowAbility today! Our volunteers worked hard to water both plots thoroughly, helping everything stay healthy despite the rather dry weather we've been having.
